The goal of a trading system is to do what?

It is to find the highest probability, with the lowest risk point of entering a move in the market.

A lot of  traders do not define and quantify the data points on which they base their buying and selling decisions.

The information is there for the taking, and historical trends don’t typically lie.

There are patterns and tendencies, but if we don’t focus and filter out the the junk we make mistakes or miss out on opportunities.

We interpret data based on our experiences of testing data and our trading ideas across a wide range of market conditions and times.

This builds confidence in the system or forces us to reject it or change our parameters.
